Blue's Duncan James has been kicking his heels since the band's break-up.
Now he is being tipped for a new job in true poacher-turned-gamekeeper fashion - as a showbiz hack.
The Sun claims Duncs could be set to take over from Ben Shephard in GMTV's Entertainment Today Friday slot.
Duncan, 27, has had a screen test in case Ben moves on to take over Eamonn Holmes as a regular GMTV anchor at the end of the month.
He stood in for Ben last year when he was on holiday and apparently impressed bosses.
Duncan also filmed a GMTV travel special in Australia, where he braved a 14,000ft sky dive.
If he lands the job he will team up with the gorgeous Jenni Falconer.
The paper quotes a GMTV insider as saying: "Duncan has been in for a screen test and he's very good."
