So what does the musical future hold for Mrs David Beckham?
If you were expecting another solo pop revival from Posh, expect to be disappointed.
After a stab at moving ballads, a dance reinvention and her well publicised hiphop phase, the mum-of-three has decided to throw in the towel.
After being dropped by her record label, she's told Spanish magazine Chic she won't be scouting around for another deal - she'd rather be a full-time mum.
"I've no plans to make music," Posh has finally confirmed. "I loved my time with the Spice Girls. But that's the past. Pop nowadays has changed a lot and I have as well.
"All I want to do now is stay in the shadows and look after my children."
The only way she will ever possibly step up to the mic again, she says, is if the Spice Girls decided to reform.
"If the Spice Girls ever got back together again it would be very amusing," she said.
"I can't imagine what it would be like because we're all a lot older."
But with an unenthusiastic Mel C and Mel B putting pay to any hopes of a reunion, you're more likely to see Victoria at playgroup than Top Of The Pops.
