Dizzee RascalMust Be The Music judge Dizzee RascalWhen you think of three musical marvels joining forces to create something special, Dizzee Rascal, Jamie Cullum and Sharleen Spiteri probably aren't the acts that you would automatically put together.

In fact, Dizzee's unique urban edge couldn't seem further away from Jamie's smooth soulful jazz and Sharleen's Texas melodies.

But their diversity is what makes these three celebrities the perfect mix to take to the judges' panel on Sky 1's new series Must Be The Music, announced today.

With a concept that will no doubt be compared to the long-running reality TV series The X Factor, this new show actually goes one better in a bid to bring new life to the music industry, by handing back creative control to the winning artisSharleen SpiteriFellow judge Sharleen Spiterit. Speaking about the venture, Sharleen said: "It's going to be a great opportunity for musicians out there to come and perform in front of three judges who have such diverse musical styles, that no matter what style of music they perform it will surely pique the interest of at least one of us."

And Dizzee added a message to the hopefuls: "I know how hard it is to break into the music industry and am giving all you fellow musicians out there a chance to come and show me, the other judges and the rest of the UK that we really do have some of the best musicians in the world right under our noses, who deserve a break. I'm here to give you that break."
