CrystalSwarovski's fragrance will launch in the UK first.Monday 31st January

Good news for lovers of Swarovski - the brand is launching its first fragrance, in association with Clarins. The scent will be called Aura by Swarovski, and will be released this spring. Swarovski board member Markus Langes-Swarovski said: "The soul of crystal is light.

"Aura is the perfect visual expression for the soul of crystal." Apparently the finished fragrance represents liquid crystal. Our desire for all things shiny and precious (and all things made by Swarovski, for that matter) are sure to make Aura a hit.

Aura will launch in the UK on 3rd March, exclusive to Selfridges.

Lady GagaLady GagaThursday 27th January

We just can't make this stuff up.

As if you didn't find her, erm, quirky enough already, Lady Gaga has reportedly requested that her first fragrance smell like 'blood and semen'. The news comes from a source close to the brains behind creating the fragrance for the star.

Forgive us for being slightly less than thrilled at the idea of smelling like a scene from a graphic horror.

Meanwhile, in happier news, online beauty boutique Cult Beauty is today launching its pop-up shop in the Selfridges Beauty Hall, where it will remain until the 31st January 2011. Customers will have access to fabulous beauty brands including Face Atlier, Ginvera and Rodin, as well as getting to chat to Cult Beauty experts including Tara Smith, who's worked with the likes of Demi Moore and Rosorio Dawson.

Get yourself down there, pronto.

Kristen BellKristen BellWednesday 26th January

Kristen Bell has landed herself a new beauty gig - as the face of Neutrogena. And with her crystal-clear skin and all-American good looks it's easy to see why she's the perfect choice. The actress will be the face of the brand's new Neutrogena Naturals line. Details are yet to be released on when the ads will feature, but reports suggest that the 30-year-old has already recorded TV and online ads, and shot the print campaign, earning in the region of $500,000 (around £316,000) for her work.

Not bad for a few days work.

Meanwhile, if you've ever wondered how the Kardashian sisters keep their skin so polished and sunkissed, we may have the answer for you. The gorgeous sisters are reportedly huge fans of Karin Herzog's New Dynamic Tone & Tan. The combination of detoxifying Silhouette teamed with Tone & Tan is a powerful duo. The formula blasts cells with Oxygen to increase cellular activity, and feeds skin with Vitamin B12 and anti-oxidant green tea. If it'll take us one step closer to Kim's toned perfection, we're in.

Naomi CampbellNaomi CampbellTuesday 25th January

Wherever Naomi Campbell goes, controversy follows. The supermodel will be back in court on Thursday to address that breach-of-contract lawsuit involving a perfume called Cat Deluxe With Kisses. Beauty company Moodform Mission launched the lawsuit against Naomi for apparently failing to honour a contract to promote the fragrance. Moodform Mission are seeking $8million (£5million) in damages, however Naomi has counter-sued, claiming that former agent Carole White misrepresented her in the contract.

Confused? We are too. Good luck to Judge Judith Gische, who will be responsible for sorting out this mess.

Angelina JolieAngelina JolieFriday 21st January

Having an A-list lady being spotted using your lipgloss is big news for any brand, but when Angelina Jolie chooses to touch up using your lip gloss on the red carpet at the Golden Globes, that's when you start jumping for joy. Which is why the folks at Chantecaille will be extremely happy.

Angelina was spotted touching up with the brand's Brilliant Gloss on the night - which obviously worked a treat on her flawless pout. You can get your hands on the same gloss as Ange at www.spacenk.co.uk for £23.

We predict a sell-out.

Meanwhile, Heidi Klum has landed herself a new job, as a fragrance creator at Coty. The supermodel will produce her own fragrance called Shine, expected to be released in September this year. Coty's Steve Mormoris said of the deal: "Heidi has a unique position in the market. She is not just a supermodel or a celebrity — she is also a businesswoman. She is very multifaceted — we plan to create a fragrance which celebrates all of those facets.”

Kim Cattrall For OlayKim Cattrall For OlayWednesday 19th January

Thought there weren't enough over 50s landing huge cosmetics campaigns? Think again. Kim Cattrall is breaking the mold, having been named as the new spokesperson for Olay's Total Effects anti-ageing line of beauty products.

The new campaign images of the 54-year-old actress show Kim bronzed and fabulous in a draped gown. She says: "It's important that I keep my body skin looking smooth and radiant." The Total Effects 7-in-1 Advanced Anti-Ageing Body Wash boasts anti-ageing ingredients like VitaNiacin and jojoba butter. And one thing's for sure - if it can make women look even close to as good as Kim, it's sure to be a sell-out.

Lindsey Wixson for ChanelLindsey Wixson for ChanelDoesn't Lindsey Wixson have homework to do? We're guessing school work and a social life take a back seat to modelling these days for the plump lipped Linds. Into The Gloss has some backstage exclusives of the model's new shoot for Chanel cosmetics, and we just had to peak. The 16-year-old is shown wearing Rouge Allure lipstick in Flamboyante and Black Pearl nail varnish. We're starting to think magazine adverts are going to be filled with no one other than Lindsey this season.

Mila KunisMila KunisMonday 17th January

We think skincare is as important as any other girl does. But we can't help but think that paying $7000 (around £4400) for a facial is a little excessive. Don't tell that to Mila Kunis, who gave her skin the ultimate Hollywood treatment before walking the red carpet at last night's Golden Globe awards. The Black Swan actress' esthetician Scott-Vincent Borba tested out his new pricey HD Diamond and Ruby Peel on the actress. He told US InStyle: "I always do (this on) her skin, neck, décolleté, arms, and the back of her hands—anything that will be possibly showing with her dress."

The treatment uses the gemstones in its name, which may explain the steep price-tag. Scott-Voncent said: Mila is one of my muses,” said Borba. "She’ll test my stuff before everyone else and give me feedback." His other A-list clients include Ashley Greene and AnnaLynne McCord. We think we'll stick with facial treatments that we won't need a loan for, for now.

Gwen Stefani for L'Oreal ParisGwen Stefani for L'Oreal ParisFriday 14th January

Gwen Stefani is the newest face of L'Oreal Paris, boosting the brand's already star-studded line-up.

Gwen's first campaign will be for the brand's Infallible Le Rouge lip colour, pretty handy given that she is never seen without perfect red lips. She said of her new role: "I can’t believe I get to be one of the L’Oréal Paris girls. I love playing dress up, on stage or shooting videos, it’s always been one of my favorite parts of being in a band.”

Gwen joins A-listers such as J-Lo, Eva Longoria and Beyonce at L'Oreal, and she couldn't be happier: “To get to work with such a modern, talented group of people is really exciting. I’m a lucky, lucky girl." Yes Gwen, you are.

Nicole KidmanNicole KidmanThursday 13th January

People have often speculated about how 43-year-old Nicole Kidman remains looking so spectacular. The actress has previously denied having Botox injections, but has now admitted in an interview with a German magazine that she has used the method in the past. So does she still do it?

Apparently not.

Nicole said in the interview: "I've tried a lot of things but apart from working out and a good diet most things don't help.

"I even tried Botox but I didn't like how my face looked afterwards. Now I don't use it anymore, and I can move my forehead again. I am completely natural. I have nothing in my face or anything."

Waking Up In VegasWaking Up In VegasTuesday 11th January

We've never been so excited about a nail polish launch. Famous American manicurist Deborah Lippmann has launched a range of polishes exclusively with House of Fraser. But these aren't just any polishes.

Deborah has a host of celebrity clientele, from Mariah Carey to Gwyneth Paltrow, and the capsule colour collection represents her A-list connections and high-fashion flair. We're particularly excited to get our hands on Sarah Smile a gorgeous nude hue created with Sarah Jessica Parker, and Waking Up In Vegas, as worn by Lady Gaga. The shades are £14 each and available now in store and at www.houseoffraser.co.uk.

Lauren ConradLauren ConradMonday 11th January

If you're thinking about transforming your look in 2011, you're not alone. Last week Khloe Kardashian debuted a show-stopping flaming red mane and now Lauren Conrad is dabbling in the dye. The US reality television princess has ditched her famous highlighted locks in favour of a sleek and sophisticated rich brown hue.

Are you loving Lauren's look? We're thinking she's channelling a more sophisticated style as she works on her fashion line for her new reality television show.

Khloe KardashianKhloe KardashianThursday 6th January

A New Year, a new you. You being Khloe Kardashian. The famous sister has ditched her deep chocolate hue for a flaming red makeover. Khloe debuted her new look at the People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles last night, wearing a floor-length Alexander McQueen grey gown. Red locks might be the hottest hue of the moment (Christina Hendricks and Karen Elson being the style models of the season) but it's no easy task to pull it off. So has Khloe managed it?

In a word, yes. The new colour gives the Kardashian sister her own unique look. We bet Kim and Kourtney are fuming they didn't do it first…

Tamara MellonTamara MellonWednesday 5th January

We're never more excited than when all the new season ads hit print (yes, sad, we know), and we're especially excited this season to catch a first glimpse of the new Jimmy Choo perfume ad. So who's been chosen for this coveted role?

Well, Tamara Mellon herself, actually. The brand's founder looks every inch the goddess in the sensual new ads - and if this stunning ad won't boost sales then we don't know what will.

Is there nothing Tamara can't do?

Solange KnowlesSolange KnowlesTuesday 4th January

You might see New Year's Eve as a chance to let your hair down and welcome in the New Year with a hazy grin and a kiss with someone you'll probably not speak to again. We, however, see the biggest party night of the year as the perfect occasion for some celebrity spotting. We obsessed over the perfect outfit for the big night for weeks in advance, so imagine the pressure on our famous counterparts, who'll have their party looks documented in history for ever.

But one celebrity who wasn't going to shy away from the spotlight was Beyonce's sister Solange Knowles. Perhaps Solange is sick of big sister stealing the limelight? Well, no more. Solange wore the longest hair extensions we've ever seen to party the night away in Las Vegas with B. The usually short-haired star opted for thigh-grazing dread-locks for the occasion: this is head-turning celebrity beauty at its best. Something tells us 2011 is Solange's time to shine.
