Britney Spears certainly knows how to defend herself.
Whilst most celebrities are happy for a rep to speak on their behalf, Ms Spears is made of different stuff.
Following allegations in Star magazine that Britney's boyfriend Jason Trawick had attacked her, the pop princess made her feelings on the issue very clear.
Britney took to Twitter to blast those who contributed to the reports, including ex-husband Jason Alexander: "PS - Star Magazine, Radar Online, Jason Alexander and the rest of you liars, Ya'll can kiss my lily white southern Louisiana a*s."
Apparently the official denial released by a spokesperson earlier in the day didn't make Brit's point clear enough.
She had already posted on the social networking site that she and Jason T had plans to head off for a romantic weekend away, perhaps to celebrate the singer's recent 29th birthday.
Jason Alexander, who Britney briefly married in Vegas before requesting an annulment, claims the singer confided in him that Jason T was abusive towards her.
We think we've got the message that our favourite popster is not in agreement with these allegations.
