Now that Cheryl Cole is officially single again, she's revealed that she's determined to become a mum.
In an interview with Vogue, Cheryl has said that she thinks having children will make her less self-obsessed.
In the interview she also opens up about the hurt that Ashley Cole caused her.
On the prospect of becoming a mother she said: "That’s definitely something I want to achieve. It’s the toughest job in the world but I know it must be the most rewarding, too.
"I am ready now. I’m 27. I’m a woman, not a girl any more. I really feel that.
"Thinking about yourself constantly isn’t so healthy. I suppose that’s the point of having children, isn’t it?
"Being able to live your life through them instead of you, having them be your motivation? That’s the ‘right’ thing, I’m thinking, when you love someone more than you love yourself."
Asked whether she felt betrayed by Ashley she said: "Yes, definitely I do.
"I’ve got to take everything that’s happened and learn from it. I accept that that’s a chapter of my life that’s finished. And I’ve just got to be grateful that I’ve got so many good things going on. I have."
Cheryl is now back in London after a spell in LA recording.

Cheryl Cole Since Her Split From Ashley
Their marriage may be over but that doesn't mean Cheryl Cole has lost her love for Ashley.
With tears in her eyes, she revealed the extent of her feelings towards her ex-husband on Piers Morgan's Life Stories: "Once we get over this obstacle, I hope we can be friends again. A part of me will always love Ashley."
We'd call it a little more than an 'obstacle' but each to their own.
