Denise Van Outen has revealed that she has had to give up breastfeeding baby Betsy.
The actress says the reason doesn't lie with the pain or problems that can be attached to breastfeeding for new mothers.
Rather that she found doing it impossible to do about without being papped.
The 36-year-old new mum said: "I probably should have persevered a bit longer than three weeks. But I can't be sitting in Starbucks and breastfeeding, because they (photographers) are taking pictures.
"Another time, I was at the back of a really long queue at the Post Office to get Betsy a passport, knowing that in the next half hour she was going to wake up and cry, wanting a feed.
"And, sure enough, when I got to the front, that's exactly what she did. And I felt so conscious of the pressures of everybody looking, tutting and waiting to see how I dealt with the situation because they knew my face."
But the pressure of feeding in public wasn't the only reason for Denise's decision. She has said: "I wasn't producing enough milk and Lee wanted to be able to feed her".
Speaking of her husband, she also said: "If anything, I probablly make more effort now I've had the baby, because I don't want to become a tracksuit-wearing mum at home. It's important for my husband to see me looking good. We've only been together for three years, so it's not very nice for him if suddenly I can't be bothered."
Denise also requested that her pictures from the shoot not be retouched as she didn't want to hide her 'post-baby jelly-belly.'
