We didn't want to believe the rumours...
But now we've heard it from the horse's mouth.
Last night we brought you the news that Eva Longoria Parker had filed for divorce from Tony Parker.
A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Superior Court confirmed yesterday that they had received a petition.
Now the Desperate Housewife star has spoken out, taking to her Twitter page to reveal: "It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce. We love each other deeply and pray for each other’s happiness."
Her husband also posted the same message on his Facebook page.
Eva has cited "irreconcilable differences" for the break-up and it's thought that she is seeking spousal support from the basketball star.
The 35-year-old has also requested that her name be restored to Eva Jacqueline Longoria.
The court paperwork also mentioned the couple's prenuptial agreement, which was updated two years ago.
They've been married for three years.
Sky Showbiz has contacted Eva's spokesperson for a comment.
