That Hilary Duff is a braver lady than us.
The day you catch us shoving scorpions down our pants is the day showbiz pigs fly, quite frankly.
But Hilary rose to the knicker-pest challenge like a true trooper.
In case you think we're chatting utter nonsense here, we're talking about the crazy lengths Hilary had to go to for her new film.
Hils faced the daunting prospect of putting creepy-crawlies into her undies for War, Inc., an action comedy starring John Cusack.
And though you might think that a prop would suffice for such a cringe-inducing escapade, Hils was determined to try her hand at some DIY.
“I really did (put a live scorpion down my pants), it was scary," Hilary told Los Angeles Confidential magazine.
"I grew up in Texas, and we had plenty of scorpions, but I never had to put one down my pants before. And my pants weren’t that baggy, so I couldn’t get any space."
Continuing in this vein of lurid detail, Hilary said: "I did it a couple of times with it going down my leg and it was terrifying.
"The little thing kept doing backbends because it obviously didn’t want to go in my pants, you know? Everyone on set was cheering.”
Who said shooting movies was fun?
