Robbie Williams has finally done it.
Taken the plunge and proposed to his girlfriend, Ayda Field, that is.
And the former Take That star didn't hesitate to do the deed in style.
it's a pity it wasn't real though.
According to the Daily Mail, Robbie proposed on live radio in Australia while making a guest appeance on the Kyle and Jackie O breakfast show.
Host Jackie O said to Robbie: "Sydney has a bit of a reputation for proposals with celebrities, is there any news you want to share?"
Robbie then asked Ayda: "Is there anyone you want to get married to? Will you marry me?"
Luckily for Rob, she replied with a big old yes, prompting him to say: "I love you so much. Would you be my betrothed until the end of time?"
Ayda replied romantically: "I would love to be your betrothed until the end of time."
Now, Robbie's manager says: "He did say it, but he did it in a jocular manner.
"They are not engaged."
Drat.
