Pop star Shakira has some interesting views on the subject of marriage.
In fact, she says she doesn't want to get htched to her long-term boyfriend Antonio de la Rua.
Good news for all the male Shakira fans out there, but don't get too excited.
Although the couple have been together for 10 years, the hip-shaking star says she doesn't want to tie herself down to marriage because she finds it confining. She told US Cosmopolitan magazine:"There's something very claustrophobic about the idea of marriage for me. I feel that men can get comfortable. I like Antonio to think of me like his eternal girlfriend."
How very spirtitual.
Whilst she may not want to tie herself down, she doesn't deny the strong foundations of marriage: "Sometimes, I think the most stable marriages start after 30, after you've lived so much and done so much and met so many people."
The Hips Don't Lie singer does want to start a family with her boyfriend though, confessing: "He's my lifelong partner and the future father of my kids." Aww.
She reportedly told The News Of The World earlier this year: "My body clock isn't going crazy, but I feel ready. My body feels ready. Antonio and I have talked about it and it's the next step for us."
