Marion CotillardMarion CotillardMarion Cotillard may have won an Oscar for her acting skills but we think she should get a style award for her effortlessly chic dress sense - we show you how to get the look, here.

She manages to combine a glitzy sequined lemon flapper dress with a comfy cardigan to create an outfit that we want to snap up immediately.

Going into Autumn/Winter, look out for neon yellow (colours are bright and bold this season) or a more neutral version in an off-white or grey.

The Dorothy Perkins dress that we found is a great style for every body shape and can be easily dressed up or down.

Marion’s cardigan has just a hint of ‘le Francais’ about it - it must be that white trim. Thankfully nautical and military are still huge this season so there are lots of versions of this whether you are shopping on the high-street or in designer boutiques. When you’re not teaming it with your sequin dress it will look equally fabulous with your favourite pair of jeans and a plain vest top.

Marion’s T-bar dancing style shoes are to die for and if you’re lucky enough to have an endless budget then the Christian Louboutin crystal sandals we have found would accompany any dress beautifully. But fear not - if Louboutin is a little out of your league this close to payday we have found a more affordable alternative.

We can’t see what jewellery Marion is wearing to finish off her ensemble, but we’re guessing it’s diamonds - they are a girl’s best friend after all. Statement drop earrings and a cuff bracelet are the perfect finishing touches along with a 30’s style waved bob and a slick of your best red lipstick.

This is retro glamour with a modern day twist at its finest.
