As far as birthday presents go, a cheque for £4million isn't bad.
And that's exactly what Susan Boyle has reportedly been handed as she turns 49.

Not exactly. The cheque is Su-Bo's first royalties payment from her debut album I Dreamed A Dream, which reached number one last year. Her album has now sold over 8.5million copies worldwide.
Susan is currently on tour in Japan, and yesterday celebrated her birthday (and her hefty bonus) with fans in the penthouse suite of Tokyo's tallest building.
Speaking about the event, Susan said: "We had a wonderful time. I can't believe they have come all the way from America, Australia, and the UK. I just can't believe how lucky I am."
We wonder if Su-Bo will be using any of the £4million to upgrade from her council house in Scotland where she is still living wih her cat Pebbles?
