Renee Zellweger is scribbling notes to a stranger on the streets of LA.
And it's not her autograph.

Yesterday the star was grabbing her daily coffee in Santa Monica when a stranger noticed her parking meter was about to expire.
The hero rushed to the machine with some loose change, seconds before Renee was eligible for a parking ticket.
The actress was thrilled with her good samaritan and thanked the man with a $100 (£66) Starbucks gift card carrying the message: "Wow. Thank you so much for the kindness. Warmly, with gratitude, Renee."
Maybe it is the City Of Angels after all.
