It wasn't just Pixie Lott's gown we were lusting after at the BRITs.
Her vintage vamp hairstyle also got the thumbs up from us.
Nice’n Easy Colour Advisor Jonathan Long helps us break down the look and, more importantly, shows us how to recreate it at home.
Jonathan says: "The cute, sexy, sweet up-do is complemented perfectly by Pixie’s rich blonde locks. To get this colour at home I’d recommend using the Nice’n Easy Colour Blend Foam in Extra Light Blonde 10. It’s a gorgeous champagne shade and with just three shakes and no drips, it’s the easiest hair colour to apply yourself at home.
Step one: For the ultimate shine on the red carpet preparation is key. Prep hair with a deep conditioning treatment, I love the Nice’n Easy ColourSeal Gloss, which nourishes the hair keeping coloured hair like Pixie’s glossy and shiny.
Step two: Once your hair is coloured and conditioned, dry the hair to create a smooth finish. Don’t worry if hair isn’t completely straight as a natural wave will work well with this look.
Step three: When the hair is dry, create a drastic side parting. Take the smaller side of the parting and start twisting towards your head. While twisting, add more hair each time to allow the twist to gradually come round the back of your head. Hold secure with Kirby grips and a good amount of a strong hold hairspray. I would suggest the Pantene Pro-V Normal to Thick Hair Smooth & Sleek Hairspray.
Step four: Let the end of the twist join the free falling hair on the larger side of the parting, giving a cascade effect of hair. With straightening irons, add light curls randomly throughout the loose hair to create that gorgeous tousled curl look. Finish with the Pantene Pro-V Coloured Hair Instant Protection & Shine Spray."
Roll on Saturday night.
