This is shaping up to be Adele's year.
The Brit singer's fame across the pond is growing by the day.
After sweeping the board at the Grammys this weekend, she's cemented her status as a style icon by covering the Power Issue of American Vogue.
After taking a step back from the limelight to have vital throat surgery, there couldn't be a better comeback for the North Londoner - she's fronting the US mag's Power Issue, no less.
Retro is clearly Adele's look of choice - she's rarely seen without feline flicks around her eyes or big, bouncy locks. And, in keeping, the mag has opted to give her a timeless transformation for the shoot.
In the stunning centrefold shot she wears a breathtaking taffeta and lace gown by Oscar de la Renta.
And, while she poses like a pro for each image, it's clear that courting the limelight isn't Adele's thing, especially on awards' nights.
She says: "I hate the red carpet. I don't feel insecure, I just feel like, 'Oh, I don't want to do this.' I literally get a stomach cramp. At the VMAs last year I felt really out of my comfort zone because there were so many superstars there."
We hate to say it, Adele, but you're one of them now.
