With names like Lara Stone, Kate Moss, Joan Smalls and Milla Jovovich on your list of centrefolds, surely the only way to avoid smoking hot shots is to dress the ladies in sacks. Or get them to pose naked.
Because according to Sorrenti, his nude shots won't get your pulse racing: "Originally I thought I was going to do very sexy pictures, and when we got there I realised that I didn't want the pictures to be sexy at all... I didn't want (the models) to be posing and arching and, like, sticking their boobs in my face or anything like that."
Um, right.
Arching and boob sticking out aside, we're still not convinced.
The calendar was shot in the scorching Corsican sun, with the ladies posing everywhere from sunlit rocks to chaise lounges. How very dull.
It was unveiled last night at a press conference in New York - and we're sure the assembled crowd was suitably underwhelmed by the oh-so un-sexy snaps.
