We do have a habit of reading too much in to body language...
But then again these actions speak volumes.
Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway may have just been acting (that's what they do see), but we like to think there is some real chemistry here.
The stars were in Australia this weekend for the premiere of their latest film Love And Other Drugs, and were getting rather cosy with one another on the red carpet.
Staring into each other's eyes... girly giggling... a lot of touchy-feely poses - these two couldn't keep their hands to themselves.
Not that we can blame Anne - we would be just the same if we were standing beside the god that is Jake.
And Anne isn't bad either, come to think of it.
Even though she is going out with actor Adam Shulman and Jake is rumoured to be dating country music singer Taylor Swift, you never know what is really going on.
And being the experts that we are, this kind of tactile behaviour leads us to believe that these to are definitely more than just co-stars.
They might just be very good friends, but time will tell.
