But loses her cool on stage.
That's right, Meryl Streep might have another BAFTA on her shelf.
But after tonight, we know she's just like the rest of us.
The star was so flustered at hearing her name called out, she almost lost her shoe on the way to the stage.
Colin Firth, who presented the star with her Best Actress award, hastily popped it back on for her. So she's just as clumsy as us, and he's basically a real-life Prince Charming.
Amaze.
Meryl walked home with the award at tonight's British Academy Of Film And Television Awards at London's Royal Opera House for her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady.
After her impromptu Cinderella moment, Meryl said: "That couldn't have gone worse!"
We don't know, Meryl - the swoonsome Mr Firth touched your foot, remember.

Accepting the award, Meryl - who looked stunned to have won - said: "Somebody once said the fate of the well known is to be misunderstood. The ambition of this film was to look at the life of the Iron Lady from inside out and locate something real.
"Something that may be hidden but truthful in the life of someone that we have all decided we know something about already. I am very proud of the film. Half of me is Streep but half of me is Wilkinson from Lincolnshire so I come by this part honestly."
Michelle Williams was the favourite to win the award, for her role as Marilyn Monroe in My Week With Marilyn. And Meryl fought off further stiff competition from Berenice Bejo in The Artist, Tilda Swinton in We Need to Talk About Kevin and Viola Davis in The Help.

Meryl and Michelle will go head to head again at the end of the month as they battle it out for the Best Actress award at this year's Oscars®.
We hope both ladies are practising their stage struts already.
