They may just have been the sexiest couple in showbiz.
But Mollie King and D&G model David Gandy have called time on their fairy-tale romance.
The pair, who began dating in April last year, have decided to go their separate ways.
The couple blame their hectic work schedules for the split, which David announced to The Mirror, saying: "Unfortunately Mollie and me aren't together any more."
Would now be a bad time to correct him on his grammar? Mollie and I, David, Mollie and I.
He added: "It's a very new thing and it's very sad. It was a mutual decision, one of the reasons being is because we don't get to see each other as much as we would have like to.
"I'm always travelling to and from America and Mollie is busy with The Saturdays. At least if we do it at this point in time then we can remain friends and not resent each other. Maybe it would have been different if we had got further down the line."
How grown-up. Sob.
Thirty-one-year-old David, who is seven years Mollie's senior, remains hopeful about a reconcilation in the future.
He said: "The timing just wasn't right and it's really sad for the both of us. We are still great friends and we're still talking all of the time. I spoke to Mollie today in fact.
"I would never rule out getting back together in the future when things may have settled down in our careers.
"Right now, we are both very focused on our careers."
