So, who's getting the house?

It's been a tense couple of months for Russell Brand and Katy Perry.

After filing for divorce in December, they've finally signed the papers.

And Katy signed her section with a smiley face next to her name, proving that she's happy to be parting ways with Russell. Or at least trying to look like she's happy about it.

Irreconcilable differences were cited as the reason for the couple's split after 14 months of marriage, and no further information has been released.

But RadarOnline has obtained the official divorce papers, which feature the full breakdown of the assets.

The papers state: "The parties have entered into a comprehensive written settlement of all issues, including, without limitation, with respect to the property to be confirmed or assigned to each party."

They have a $6.5 million (£4m) house in the Hollywood Hills. We imagine Katy will take this, since Russell's sorted himsef out - we reported last month that the comedian's splashed out $1.9 million (£1.2m) on a swanky bachelor pad in the same area.

Because the couple didn't have a pre-nuptial agreement, Russell is legally entitled to "spousal support" - in other words, a nice little payout from his ex-wife, who is worth $70 million (£44m).

But it turns out he won't be receiving any. Zip. Nada.

So either 27-year-old Katy wouldn't pay up, or Russ, 36, is content with his own $20 million (£12.6m) fortune.

The singer has also asked to restore her full maiden name, Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson.

Neither Katy nor Russell have released statements about the settlement. Russ has been posting cryptic tweets on his Twitter feed but, we'll be honest, we have no idea what he's banging on about.

He wrote: "The intuitive mind is a gift and the rational mind a servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift." (sic)

Let's hope they can divide up their possessions fairly. This one's been messy enough.
