Apparently Whitney Houston's The Bodyguard co-star wants to pay tribute.

Kevin Costner joins Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin and Alicia Keys, who are all set to play a part in the singer's funeral.

And we can all join in the celebration of her life, as Saturday's service will be shown on the web.

It was always going to be a moving service, but we can't see there being a dry eye at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark at the weekend following this news.

We're pleased to hear that Kevin, who Whitney starred opposite in the 1992 hit film The Bodyguard will be in attendance - and some reports suggest he will also address the guests.

Her musical mentor, Clive Davis, will be saying a few words about the star, while Alicia and Whit's cousin Dionne Warwick will also make tributes.

While the ceremony itself has been declared private, around 300 people are expected to attend, with thousands more gathering outside to remember the singer.

The service will be streamed live online for those across the globe who wish to pay their respects.

Despite speculation that he was being denied an invitation, Whitney's ex-husband Bobby Brown is also expected to attend.

Being able to watch her funeral was always going to be hard, but with these famous friends set to turn out for the star - well, we can feel the tears welling up already.
