StepsSteps: On The Road AgainI spent this weekend in Bognor.

Now a grey day spent in an average British seaside town may not sound like much fun, but what it stood for meant a whole lot more to me.

I was re-living my youth - a youth spent at Butlins.

'But what does this have to do with tonight's TV?' I hear you cry. Well, a lot, as it turns out. As I spent fourteen consecutive years in that slightly soggy holiday camp, cheered on only by trips to the swimming pool, copious amounts of candyfloss, and a whole lot of pop music.

Steps were around at the latter end of my yearly trips to Butlins, and nights rootin' scootin' round the ballroom to Five, Six, Seven, Eight (as well as Saturday Night and The Macarena), well and truly rang the death knell for novelty songs like Agadoo and Startrekking.

Suddenly cheese was trendier - and certainly better looking.

And so now, when we look back with fondness over Steps' hits - and forward too in the hope of new releases from the band, I do it with a newly remembered esteem from my teenage discovery of them.

And my terrible dancing to all of their songs.

Enjoy.

Cougar Town Ep 2Hands up who's having funFriday 18th May

Cougar Town is so close to my heart...

It's probably because, like Jules, I'm just a teensy weensy bit controlling, just a tad OCD about tidiness, but generally am up for a good time and am constantly embarrassing myself.

Also like her, I have a very loving best friend like Ellie who pretty much hates everyone else, and is the best in the world at acerbic bitching.

I have an Andy in my life. OK, so he's my dad and thankfully not my best friend's husband. That would be weird.

And I have quite a few Lauries. She's basically a composite my friend group. They're lively, fun, colourful and always a bit raucous. And I hope that with them, I can share in her awesome wardrobe.

I also have a very wonderful boyfriend like Grayson, and a super-chilled ex - although the two are completely separate and not part of the same friend group (how difficult would that be?!).

The only thing that's missing (apart from an over-familiar son, which I most certainly don't have), is a daily dose of Floridian sunshine. Oh what I'd do for that.

Cougar Town continues at 8.30pm tonight.

Happy weekend y'all.

Thursday 17th May

Battle of the Brides: Episode 1Bride knows bestIf there's one thing I'm able to talk very thoroughly about, it's weddings.

And no, before you ask, I'm not even getting married myself. The truth of the matter is that I am maid of honour for my best friend, who has been planning her big day for the entire time I've known her (18 happy years so far). So when she got engaged last August, organisation of said big day kicked up a whole lot of gears.

Her goal is a sophisticated, traditional, and yet completely contemporary wedding. Although as a teen we discussed at length just the type of Regency gown she'd have if she married Mr Darcy as they overlooked the lake at Pemberley, the dress she has since picked out shows that all themes have thankfully been cast aside.

Which is not the case on Battle of the Brides. Here, our soon-to-be-wed ladies have their hearts set firmly on extreme styles and influences, and have to fight it out to keep hold of the important tennets of the biggest day of their lives. Which we all know is going to mean one hell of a row.

Tune in tonight at 9pm to see who gets what they want.

The Secret CircleThe Secret CircleWednesday 16th May

It's with a heavy heart that we bid farewell to The Secret Circle.

We've enjoyed the magic, the mystery, and especially some of the boys, so it'll be very hard to say goodbye.

It's so upsetting when a show ends and the US network don't renew it for another season.

Sometimes the show will get lucky and get picked up by another channel, as Cougar Town did last week, but for others, we are forced to bid adieu in the hope that our favourite actors will go on to other shows we love just as much.

We're sure that the Circlers are all getting sorted as we speak, and we'll make sure to update you with news as soon as we hear it.

Until then, enjoy tonight.

Unforgettable: Episode 8UnforgettableTuesday 15th May

Well, last night's telly was pretty Unforgettable.

It may be all about pouty, flame-haired detectives but I was also very taken with some very beautiful new additions to our screens in Ladyboys last night.

With charity founder, and all-round inspirational woman, Nok, at the centre of this expose on the unique, and often very difficult lives of Thailand's transgender community, this was a quality documentary which got so many people talking in a really positive way.

With other truly beautiful characters, like pop star Belle, and beauty queen Poy, it was an eye-opening look not only at the astounding gorgeousness of these girls, but also the way Thailand's culture accepts and embraces those who have had to come to terms with such a drastic decision about their physical selves.

I for one can't wait to watch even more of their stories but, until next week, you can tune in to catch our line-up of other great girls - starting with Detective Carrie Wells tonight at 9pm.

The Love MachineWe'd pick you Chris...Friday 11th May

Oh look, the sunshine's arrived. Well, sort of...

But it's feeling a little bit rainy in my heart still, because this weekend is the last episode of The Love Machine.

How will we cope without our weekly dose of Lycra-clad ladies and buttoned-up boys picking and choosing their respective fancy faces from the shiny wheel?

I've loved every minute of Chris and Stacey shepherding the pickers through their choices - however cringey the rejections might be, and seeing them fly off on their holidays to eventually kiss, or completely miss.

But for now I'll just have to savour this one last hurrah with the Love Machine girls and boys, and then get their look with our handy shopping guide so that when I look in the mirror, I'll be so hot, I'd want to pick myself out of a wheel. (OK, that last bit will never happen.)

Have fun.

StepsThursday 10th May

We're missing Ringer already...

But we won't let it stop us from having lots of viewing pleasure tonight. We've got another chance to catch Unforgettable, but what we've got our eye on is revisiting all that Steps drama from Monday.

I love using Sky Go as a handy way to catch up on those pesky things I forgot to set up on my Sky+. I'm pretty forgetful these days, as you could tell from Tuesday's blog!

But for those of you who just enjoy watching the show on your tellybox as it's played out, there are plenty of opportunities to catch it before next Monday's new instalment.

Tonight at midnight, get some post work-drinks hilarity. Saturday at 1pm, ease yourself into the weekend, or watch with friends at 6pm before that big night out. Or there's always Sunday at 9pm after The Love Machine for that cosy night in.

How could you miss it?

Enjoy.

The Secret CircleThe Secret CircleWednesday 9th May

It's the penultimate episode of one of our favourite shows tonight.

But The Cecret Circle is going out with a bang by celebrating their prom - like no other bunch of teenagers ever could.

I was always very jealous of the kids that got to go to a prom. Going to an all-girls' school with no sign of a boys' counterpart meant we had no school discos, and then no leavers' ball.

We made up for it, of course, with plenty of hanging round in parks with unsuitable suitors drinking WKD on weekends, and then heading to the local pool or ice rink to check out the talent in the holidays.

But what I really wanted was that corsage moment where I could wear a full-length shiny dress and have my spotty escort pick me up in a limo with all my friends and take us to a suburban Travelodge to dance the night away.

I subsequently experienced such grandeur at numerous faculty balls when I got to university (at a choice selection of pay-by-the-hour motels) - but nothing could make up for not having that thrill of making it out of high school alive (and relatively popular).

So I'm sure that tonight's Secret Circle will be magical for plenty of reasons.

And maybe a bit scary too.

Unforgettable: Episode 1UnforgettableTuesday 8th May

I can hardly remember what happened over the bank holiday.

All I do know is that despite trying to rest up and unwind yesterday, I ruined it by not sleeping a wink last night.

So the whole weekend is now just reduced to a hazy fog (although I do remember the Steps coach drama from last night!), and I'm looking at the very busy week ahead with the panic of someone about to be thrown head first into a freezing cold swimming pool.

Which is why I'm going to take a few minutes to give my mind a little test today by playing the next instalment of the Unforgettable Crime Memory Game. I reckon if I give my brain a workout then I'll remember the nice things I did over the weekend and it'll power me through.

Why not try it too and let me know how you get on?

Happy remembering.

The Love MachineThe Love MachineFriday 4th May

It's bank holiday time!

It doesn't matter how much of a wash out April might have been, or indeed how glum May is looking to turn out, as long as I've got some cheer up telly and some comfy lounge wear then I'm all good.

This bank holiday weekend I've planned a girly sleepover with my best friend where we'll catch up with Cougar Town and a fun film with popcorn and prosecco, and then a day of shopping together tomorrow. Then Saturday night in with my man, followed by Sunday with the Phillips clan where I get to hang out with my teenage cousin and watch The Love Machine.

What could be better? Well a Bank Holiday Monday doing exactly nothing and loving it! And then curling up for some more Steps drama in the evening.

Awesome. Hope your weekend is full of RNR.

Enjoy!

Thursday 3rd May

RingerRingerTonight it's the end for Bridget's charade.

I've been constantly astounded by the twists and turns on the first season of Ringer. Siobhan managing to fake her own death and flee with her lover to have babies, Bridget confounding the crime lord on her case by taking over her sister's life and marriage. Obviously no one ever looked very hard for them, just sat there looking pretty and hiding in plain view.

But tonight Bridget wants to make a fresh start and tell Andrew and Juliet the truth, her NA meeting leader reinforcing that 'when you come clean, you stay clean.'

I'm not sure I'd have the guts to spill the details of such a complicated lie after seven months of living in someone else's shoes. So will Bridget manage to summon the courage her new family when she stands to lose so much?

Find out tonight in the finale of Ringer at 8pm.

BonesBones

Wednesday 2nd May

Brennan is back to work already.

Surely she should have had a bit of a rest after the birth of baby Christine? But apparently forensic anthropologists don't get much maternity leave, because in Bump In The Road she's back to look at the case of victim crushed under a rogue 18-wheel lorry. What a way to ease yourself back in.

I myself am covering my job while my predecessor Karen has had the rest of the year at home with her baby boy. Which is a wonderful solution for all involved.

Perhaps the FBI could have given me a call, I would have happily helped Agent Booth solve a few crimes. I'm very nosy, so I'd make a great detective.

Bones is on at 9pm.

Enjoy.

Unforgettable: Episode 15UnforgettableTuesday 1st May

Tonight's Unforgettable is called 'Blind Alleys'.

Which is pretty apt, considering I could hardly see through the rain on the way to the office this morning.

Who needs sunshine viewing to make us jealous when we could make the most of a grey day and watch some dark and chilling crime drama instead?

And when Saunders shoots a suspect and gets himself suspended, it opens up a very dangerous situation indeed.

It always happens once they've reneged their guns and badges...

Unforgettable is on tonight at 9pm.

Have a nice night in away from the wet.

Steps: On The Road AgainSteps: On The Road AgainMonday 30th April

It's not getting any easier by the look of it...

That's not to say that Steps aren't all secretly revelling in their return to the warm glow of the spotlight, but while back in the day they just sparkled as they danced their way through the hits, now there's a lot of huffs and puffs, not to mention a good dash of sweat in the mix.

But will the band be able to bond in the face of the tour fear, or will it break them like before? We're sure there will be plenty of tantrums before bedtime tonight, so tune in for all the drama at 9pm and get involved on Zeebox and Twitter using #stepsontheroad.

Friday 27th - Sunday 29th April

Is it time for the summer of love yet?

The week may have been a bit of a wash out so far, but maybe the sun is poking his little face through the clouds for the weekend and allowing us to look forward to a much brighter summer?

And even if that's not going to happen, we've got some right little rays of sunshine to lighten the mood.

cougar town S3 castCougar Town

Friday night Cougar Town gives us cheerful Floridian fun - not to mention a whole lot of wine - courtesy of the cul-de-sac crew.

Sundays is our weekly dose of romance with The Love Machine, and there's tans a plenty with that gang to get you in the summer spirit.

Then on Monday we've got more drama, dancing and colourful costumes from the fantastic Steps: On The Road Again. There might be tears and tantrums too, but we can take a bit of emotion with our fun, can't we?

Happy Weekend.

RingerRingerThursday 26th April

It's nearly time to say goodbye...

There's a killer on the loose and Bridget's in their view - but more importantly, it's the penultimate episode of Ringer.

So things are getting wrapped up. Let's just hope they don't get wrapped up in a body bag.

Tonight's episode is 'It's called improvising, b***h!'. I spend lots of my time improvising my way out of tricky situations, whether it be fixing the odd glitch on your favourite website, or tying my bra straps together so they're not visible in a dress with an interestingly cut dress. I'm always fiddling about to find a better solution.

Luckily I've never come up against any killers in my life, but if I did, I don't think a light smattering of HTML code and the ability to tie a bow with some pink ribbon with my arms behind my back would help me. Unless they tied me up perhaps..?

What are the things you improvise on most? Let us know on facebook or twitter, and I'll do a round up next week.

Ringer is at 8pm tonight.

Bones - Season 7, Episode 7Booth and Brennan aren't enjoying the rain eitherWednesday 25th April

It may be wet, but we'll make it a wonderous Wednesday.

If you're a bit of an SAD head like me, you'll have found it especially hard to shrug off that duvet this morning.

But I've got one thing powering me through the pelting downpour: getting home for a night in front of the tellybox in my PJs.

And haven't we got an amazing line-up for you. First up, get your magic on with some Secret Circle action at 8pm, then new Bones continues at 9pm. And then at 10pm get that medical attention you've needed all day from Grey's.

Now all we've got to do is get through the day. Anyone for a cup of tea to warm up?

Thought so...

Tuesday 24th April

StepsSteps: On The Road AgainSo what did you think?

Steps' return to touring looks pretty fraught from the get-go, but the surprise of the show was lovely Lisa being the least willing to give up her old life when she had wanted the band to reform in the face of doubts from other members.

But then commuting from Dubai does sort of put my long journey of a morning in the shade.

Seeing the guys back in the dance studio highlighted just how much they'd grown out of the hardcore training regimen of being in a touring band, and their selection of young dancers promised to either give them support or just show them right up.

We'll have to tune in next week to see how that dynamic works.

It was just great to see the hordes of fans back to greet them - with one going even further than most by auditioning as a backing dancer. Her heartfelt wail of 'but I'm only 5'2!' when she was told the heartbreaking news that 5'6 was the minimum height for the troupe serving to draw attention to her slightly under-developed moves.

But will the band be able to get to grips with the choreography - and get camera ready in just three weeks - in the run up to the sold out 20 date tour? Set that Never Miss reminder for Monday at 9pm and you'll find out...

And for tonight, don't forget it's Unforgettable night!

Enjoy.

StepsSteps: On The Road AgainMonday 23rd April

Now I'm a deeper shade of blue...

But there's something I can do to remedy my post-gig blues - watch Steps: On The Road Again.

I don't think one serving of Steps magic would have been enough. There's just something magic about recapturing those lost teenage years with a good old singalong (yes, I know I sound about a hundred right now), and Friday night was a big old blast from the past.

They rolled out all the classics, and I remembered how Summer of Love was my forgotten favourite, and was astounded to see the Sky Living girls dancing perfectly in unison to pretty much every routine.

Now I'm not going to spoil anything at all, but can I just take my (pink sparkly cowboy) hat off to Lee, who gives a tremendous turn at the mid-point in the proceedings.

We've got Steps fun a-go-go today and while the show is on, so make sure to check out our dedicated site to see all the latest videos, interviews and pictures.

Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Friday 20th April

Five, six, seven, eight!

That's my own personal countdown mantra for tonight, because after work finishes, the whole office is off to see.... STEPS!

steps belfast gigSteps: On The Road Again
They've been my little guilty pleasure since I was a teenager and, tonight, I'll probably be a deeper shade of puce as I shout along with all the songs. I think I pretty much know all the words (not to mention the moves) to every one of their hits.

The Sky Living girls will decamp en masse to London's O2 after work and it'll no doubt descend into a hen-do-like affair of epic proportions (hopefully someone's made us some rootin' tootin' personalised sparkly cowboy hats).

We'll no doubt post some pics of us in action on Monday, but join in the fun by sending us shots of you at Steps gigs and we'll get you in our gallery of superfans.

And that wouldn't be a tragedy, would it?

RingerRingerThursday 19th April

I don't know how they do it.

Everyone is trying to kill everyone on Ringer, and Bridget must be sleeping with one eye open to make sure no one manages to do her in.

Tonight she's going to take the big step of confiding in Agent Machado, and what sacred relief that must be to have her old protector back on side.

Everyone deserves to have someone to look out for them. Most of the time it is your parents, and then your friends step in to watch your back, and then later a boyfriend might take over that duty. But having a double hard agent of the law has to be just that bit more reassuring.

I've always fancied having John McClane from Die Hard (played by Bruce Willis) to watch out for me. He'll go to any lengths to protect his family, and what better type of man to have around.

Let's hope Machado can be that man for Bridget.

Ringer is at 8pm.

Emily and Zoe DeschanelEmily with sis ZooeyWednesday 18th April

Who's that girl? Who's that girl? It's Temperance!

While most Bones fans might not also double up as New Girl aficionados too, I have developed a big old double girl crush on the saucer-eyed sisters Deschanel of late.

And while I have stolen Zooey's style hair-wise, I feel I'm probably much closer to Emily in our exacting (and maybe slightly OCD) personalities. Maybe there's something in the name...

And I'm really looking forward to getting to know more about her as I get stuck into season 7 of Bones tonight - I've got a bit of catching up to do. Any girl with a passion for archaeology and anthropology is a girl after my own heart. I used to love Time Team...

So, get some Brennan love tonight at 9pm with brand new Bones.

Unforgettable: Episode 12UnforgettableTuesday 17th April

Hands up who loves a deadline?

Not many of us will admit it, but most people work better to a strict time line. And tonight Al and Carrie have 48 hours to crack their case, or the suspect will be free as a bird.

Obviously when most of us are under the kybosh, there won't be a killer on the loose if we miss our cut-off. But whatever the terms we work to, if you're anything like me, you'll find a way to procrastinate until it's a mad rush to the finish.

Because we need the pressure to push us through. So will our favourite memory monger and her crime-fighting beau make best use of this timeline? Or will they miss their mark?

Go crazy, because we're going back to Bedlam.

ANTM has left the building peeps, and what better way to fill your Monday evenings, than with a dose of series one of supernatural thriller Bedlam to get you psyched (or should that be psycho-ed?) for the brand new series coming soon.

If like me, you're completely new to the show, it's an ideal way to get to know the ghostly goings on at the spooky apartment block, and if you're an old hand, then you'll just love revisiting your favourite fearful faces.

Matthew Gray GublerMatthew Gray GublerFriday 13th April

Tonight, see the world through the eyes of The Gube.

That's right, my favourite of the Criminal Mind-ers, Matthew Gray Gubler has directed his own episode of the show. And as you know, I always love a director.

The episode, called Heathridge Manor, is a gothed up number, where the BAU boys and girls are tasked with investigating a set of ritualistic murders. And it's Friday 13th today. Scary!

And with the scariest of all guest stars - none other than Freddy Krueger himself, Robert Englund, this is sure to be a chilling instalment. Let's just hope Reid isn't out of action because he's behind the camera too much...

Ringer ep 18She's a wanted woman.Thursday 12th April

Everyone's out to get her.

But the title of tonight's Ringer, 'Let's Kill Bridget!' kinda gives the game away as to what they want to do when they catch her.

With Agent Machado off the force, it's a free-for-all on her life - with the malevolent Macawi on the hunt to silence his witness, Siobhan wanting to rid herself of, well, to fulfil Henry's ultimatum, and now there's another name to add to the list...

But I'm not going to tell you who that is and spoil the fun, am I?

So who is going to protect her? Andrew has already taken a bullet for her, Machado is not so macho without his badge and gun, and it feels like the world is closing in.

But Bridget is the mistress of hiding in plain sight, so no doubt she'll find a way to allude the queue of potential assassins snaking from her apartment door.

Or will she?

Find out tonight at 8pm.

Grey's AnatomyGrey's AnatomyWednesday 11th April

Let's hope love doesn't give you the shakes.

Because tonight in Grey's Anatomy, Derek and Meredith prod the boundaries of their relationship by putting it to the test over the operating table - and they'll need to continue to be steady of hand, whatever the dynamic between them.

Every couple is a unique and very finely tuned power balance. In some, this is a calm equilibrium. In others, this means meeting your eternal sparring partner.

With Derek and Meredith, their working relationship has become an office marriage - and this has added one-upmanship complexities. If both parties are confident, ambitious go-getters - especially in the same line of work, and indeed at the same place of work - then there will be times when one will have to move aside while the other moves on through.

So what will the surgery meen for Dez and Mez? Tune in tonight at 10pm tonight to see if it's make or break in Grey's Anatomy.

Unforgettable: Episode 12UnforgettableTuesday 10th April

Today I'm off to a very exciting shoot...

Obviously if I told you any details I'd have to kill you, but it may have a little something to do with Barbados' most famous export and some very fashionable people.

In the meantime, until anything is actually committed to film though, in the next few weeks we've got some equally awesome shows returning to our screen, with Bones and Steps: On The Road Again both back this month.

But because we know you're not going to wait that long, we've still got all the amazing stuff you love, including tonight's Unforgettable where Carrie gets a psycho on the phone. Always nice...

Ringer Episode 11Thursday 5th April

Ringer is getting darker and darker.

Tonight there's an attempted hit on 'Siobhan' which turns everyone into a suspect, and feels a tad like that classic EastEnders moment when Cindy hired a shooter to take down Ian while they took a little walk round Albert Square.

But who was responsible? I won't ruin the fun by listing and theoretically questioning each possible perpetrator, but let's just say, the list of characters with motives is longer than those without.

It's not very Eastery, is it? But then again, in the Ringer world, even if she had've been hit, she would have 'done a Jesus' and come back from the dead (with a new identity) by the next episode just to confuse us anyway...

Have fun playing detective, tonight at 8pm.

The Secret CircleThe Secret CircleWednesday 4th April

The Secret Circle gang are heading to the hospital tonight.

And wouldn't it be amazing if they found Jane being tended to by McDreamy and McSteamy...

Sadly it's more likely there's a dark force at work within the whitewashed walls of the ward, but hopefully she's in safe hands.

Cassie and Adam need some medicine too by the looks of things, as they try to cure their feelings for each other - fingers crossed a bit of magic will sort that right out though.

Or will it? Find out tonight at 8pm.

And if they're both ready to move on by 9pm, then they can join in The Love Machine action and pick themselves a new date.

cougar town ep 4 ssfThey may take our lives, but they'll never take our... Red Wine!Friday 30th - Sunday 1st April

Tonight the cul-de-sac crew have full moon fever.

And it's affecting them all in their own unique ways.

Laurie has gone gaga over a soldier she met on twitter. What better way to be patriotic than by spreading the love in 140 characters?

And Bobby too has fallen for someone he shouldn't have - Travis' photography professor, played by Scrubs' Sarah Chalke.

As if poor Trav's family life wasn't cramping his (already limited) style enough, having his dad hanging round at the campus gates is winning him no kudos points.

Meanwhile Jules continues her feud with the local 'youths', with Andy joining her for a gang face off. But of course he takes it all a little too far.

I'm just hoping to hear him holler 'They may take our lives, but they'll never take our... Red Wine!'

Or at least that's what I'll be shouting tonight when I'm out in the pub.

Cougar Town is tonight at 8.30pm.

And don't forget to get a little love in your life with The Love Machine at 6pm on Sunday.

Have a great weekend.

ringer ep 13RingerThursday 29th March

Tonight's episode of Ringer reveals Andrew to be a very bad man indeed...

And his ex wife is even worse.

How all of the characters manage to be so reprehensible and yet so watchable is all down to the power of intrigue - and this show has it in spades.

I sometimes wish I could get away with being a bad girl. It's not that I'm Little Miss Prissy Pants or anything, I'd just love to be that truly mysterious, ever-so-slightly malevolent maverick just for a day.

And that people would actually love me for it... We all love a bad boy (unfortunately for ourselves), but do guys feel the same about bad girls?

Lana Del Rey has dressed herself up as the gangster Nancy Sinatra and sings about 'You like your girls insane', but underneath she's just a savvy popstrel with a big credit card bill for her wicked wardrobe overhaul.

Bridget in Ringer has managed to assume a whole new identity, but it's tying her in knots trying to keep it up.

So could it really work in real life? I'm going to spend the day being a bit mean to see if I lose friends or influence people.

The Secret Circle: Episode 15The Secret CircleWednesday 28th March

There's more mild peril afoot in The Secret Circle.

The dark stranger who came back for Cassie has turned out to be her dad.

It's sad to think that anyone would be scared of their father... I'm a bit of a daddy's girl but, while he's always nice to me, according to my boyfriend, he's a very intimidating man.

Sure, he's probably what you'd call the quiet, serious type, but when we watched The Hunger Games the other night, my boyfriend turned to me and said, "Doesn't that giant, child-eating dog-creature look just like your dad?"

And it was true.

Whenever I watch gangster films, there's someone like my dad in there.

He's been compared to baddies as diverse as Richter from Total Recall (the awesomely intimidating Michael Ironside), through Vic Mackie from The Shield, to the largely misunderstood giant ape King Kong (I promise my dad is actually human).

So I guess all I can say is, thanks Dad for being on my side always. Because I wouldn't want to be in Cassie's shoes and have you against me!

Catch The Secret Circle tonight at 9pm.

The Biggest Loser: Season 10The Biggest Loser: Season 10Tuesday 27th March

We need to talk about weight loss.

Tonight is the 13th episode of The Biggest Loser, a number which will be unlucky for some.

But by this point in the competition, everyone is making some serious progress.

Back when I started these blogs in January I talked about wanting to make some big changes in my diet and exercise regime. So by now I should be reaping the benefits and be sunshine-ready.

I'm not, of course.

Instead I've eaten my way through the dying embers of winter and am actually even worse off than when I set myself those New Year's resolutions.

But now the sun is out, the need to shape up just got serious - otherwise I'm destined to wear all-black with opaque tights throughout a no-doubt sweltering spring and summer.

So tonight, I'm going to watch those Losers at 8pm and get some inspiration so I can enjoy the sunshine in denim cut-offs and a belly top like every girl should be able to.

Only kidding.

Monday 26th March

It's the semi-final of ANTM: The All-Stars already!

Tyson BeckfordTyson BeckfordAnd tonight the girls will be under the exacting eye of brand new Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model judge, the gorgeous Tyson Beckford.

Personally, I think throwing Tyson in so near to the end will be a massive curveball for the girls.

Mr Beckford is not only so devastatingly good-looking that it would be impossible to concentrate on your poses (lucky this is a motion editorial shoot, then), but according to our mole down at BINTM, he is also very straight to the point with his criticism.

So you'd be quaking in your boots but trying to pout at the same time.

It's all too much for me, I'm nervous for them already. But you can check out why we adore Tyson right here.

America's Next Top Model: The All-Stars semi-final is tonight at 9pm.

Work it, girls.

Thursday 22nd March

Ringer Ep 15Ringer Ep 15Ringer's title 'You're Way Too Pretty To Go To Jail' has got me thinking.

Isn't it funny how the better-looking and more famous you are, the less likely you are to go to jail?

Lindsay Lohan (back in her slightly more fresh-faced days), escaped doing bird more than once just for batting her eyelids, and it got pretty far down the line before Paris Hilton actually served the 'traumatic' half day of her 45-day drug sentence.

And it just served to make her more famous.

That's not to say that batting your eyelids at a policeman will get you out of trouble every time - there's plenty of pretty mugshots in our gallery.

But will either Siobhan or Bridget get any kind of comeuppance from the law? Methinks not - for a little while, at least.

Ringer is tonight at 8pm.

Don't go getting in trouble before then.

The Secret CircleThe Secret CircleWednesday 21st March

A shadowy figure emerges tonight for Cassie.

Obviously I don't want to spoil the fun by revealing who it might be, but it's someone close, and she's in real danger.

Luckily The Secret Circle are a tight bunch, so they'll do their utmost to protect her, but will it be enough?

I for one would love it if my mates had a few magical powers up their witches' sleeves to help out in a crisis.

Imagine: "Oh no, someone stole my phone..." Five minutes later and SHAZAM! Your phone's back in your hand (upgraded, of course), and the little light-fingered critter has been publicly mortified on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, and justice has been served.

Problem solved.

Looks like Cassie's problem might be just a bit more scary, though, so tune in tonight at 9pm to see just who is coming back into her life.

Magic.

Unforgettable: Episode 8UnforgettableTuesday 20th March

Unforgettable turns supernatural tonight...

Carrie's gift of memory could be mistaken for a superpower or some otherworldly talent, but usually Unforgettable resides in a more normal than paranormal setting.

But tonight, as our dynamic duo examine the murder of a ghost hunter found in an abandoned asylum, it looks like things are about to get a little bit spooky.

I, myself, got a bit ghosted out watching Paranormal Activity 3 on Sky Movies last night before bed. Every little tap or rumble around my little flat had me on edge as if my new-built block was possessed by a demon. Wrapping myself tightly in my duvet, I fully expected to be flung across the bedroom by a ghoul.

So tonight I think I'll watch something light and fluffy. But first, I won't forget Unforgettable at 9pm.

Stay safe.

Tonight's ANTM takes us through this cycle's highlights.

ANTM Cycle 17 Tyra BanksTyra BanksTracking through all the best moments of the show so far, it's sure to remind us of all those forgotten faces we loved and lost in the early episodes.

When I was younger I always relished the Friends episodes that took you through all the funniest bits of episodes gone by.

There's food-related fun in both shows, but the Top Model girls got olive-oiled up for their Greek salad task, rather than getting their heads stuck in a turkey.

Either way, we love an excuse to reminisce, so check out our Best Ever Photo Shoots gallery.

The Love MachineThe Love MachineFriday 16th - Saturday 18th March

It's The Love Machine time again.

This weekend sees not only three new couples on The Love Machine, as well as all the dates from last week, but also the start of our brand new spin-off show, Love Bites.

Getting all the gossip on how the couples got on after the cameras stopped rolling, we're hoping for some fights as well as fun times from our new pairings.

And if you just can't stand the winter sun envy, then we're giving you (and a randomly selected friend - just to give it the Love Machine edge) the chance to Spin And Win for a holiday of your own.

If that's not enough and you need a new wardrobe for the hols then we'll be showing you how to recreate all the contestants' super-sexy outfits from the show - and their date looks, too.

Phew.

If you missed the first episode last week, we'll be repeating all the action tonight at midnight, 2pm and 7pm on Saturday, and 1am on Sunday, so you won't have to miss a thing before the next brand new episode starts at 6pm on Sunday.

Have a great weekend.

Thursday 15th March

Tonight's Ringer is all about the power of romance.

Ringer Episode 11RingerSadly, that power is used for control, and not for loving means.

Catherine seduces Mr C after she sees what he's trying to do to her daughter. But shouldn't he think twice about hooking up with someone so close to his Machiavellian?

Andrew is about to stage a very beautiful moment for his 'wife', while simultaneously maintaining his own dodgy dealings at the office. But Bridget, still living Siobhan's life, is just trapped by the gesture.

Or will she secretly enjoy it?

I myself am a romantic at heart, so I soak up life's little pleasures with an untainted view. But maybe after this I should watch my back!

If you still feel like taking a chance on love, then play our Spin & Win Love Machine game and you could get the chance to take a sumptuous holiday with someone special.

We're all about the romance here at Sky Living HD.

Wednesday 14th March

Ever wondered what would have been if you'd taken a different road?

Grey's Anatomy Episode 13Grey's Anatomy

Tonight's episode of Grey's Anatomy explores decisions made at those important junctures in life.

Meredith ponders what might have been if her mother didn't have Alzheimer's, and where she herself would be if she hadn't encountered Derek that first time in a bar.

We can't go back, but sometimes it's fun to think how you could have been, if you were to revise some of those decisions.

I always wonder how my decision to drop French during my GCSEs has affected my career. I'm a dedicated, Breton stripe-wearing Francophile and have worked for two French companies, yet I have retained not a single word of the language.

It must have held me back - but there's always time to learn now, I guess.

Some things are more painful to look back over - broken relationships, choices that hurt others, not just yourself.

Regret is a fact of life. It's just a shame we can't all film an alternative ending like in Grey's.

Still, the one benefit of hindsight is that we can learn from our mistakes - but sometimes it's more fun to just keep on making a few.

If you regret missing The Love Machine on Sunday, then don't make the same mistake again - you can catch it tonight at 9pm before Grey's Anatomy.

No regrets.

Unforgettable: Episode 8UnforgettableTuesday 13th March

It's Unforgettable viewing tonight.

This week's episode sees Carrie and Al sifting through the stories of hundreds of bystanders at a crime scene.

Which is a bit like the setup process for our shiny new Love Machine site. Putting together the stories to get the bigger picture - in one instance who the killer is, and in the other, which of the prospective dates is definitely not a killer - is actually pretty similar.

They both end in a will-they-won't-they love story where the girl pouts and the guy follows her round like an inquisitive lapdog.

We reckon we'd pick Al if he turned up on a spin of the wheel - but will Carrie date or ditch at the end of this episode? No doubt she'll have committed all the other men in the crowd to memory, just in case she wanted to spin again.

Unforgettable is at 9pm tonight.

And don't forget to check out who's inside The Love Machine this weekend...

Monday 12th March

Nigel BarkerANTM's Nigel BarkerThe ANTM girls are still out in Greece this week, lucky things.

And what better way to celebrate that heritage than with an Olympic-style photo shoot with the dreamy Nigel Barker?

Totes on-trend for 2012, with the games looming large over London this summer, perhaps we can copy some of their looks when we go along to spectate in Stratford.

Seemingly, though, the Olympian style is distinctly Muscle Mary in nature, as the girls strike some of the most statuesque poses associated with the ancient sporting event.

In fact, Jodie Marsh might not even look out of place with her newly built body and range of flexes.

All that it makes me think is just how much I need to hit the gym before the summer comes!

And some other girls who are looking seriously foxy, are The Love Machine ladies. Our awesome new dating show premiered last night, but if you missed it, then fret not, you can catch it again tonight at 8pm.

Don't say we don't spoil you!

Friday 9th - Sunday 11th March

It's Cougar Town time.

cougar town s3 ep 1The Andrex puppy's been running riot down in GulfhavenWhen I joined Sky Living at the start of the year, the one show I was most looking forward to working on was Cougar Town.

Sure, we've got the incredible Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model and a show with my pop pin-up Rihanna, but not much makes me laugh like the cul-de-sac crew.

I started watching when it first arrived on our screens two years ago. I was back living at home with my parents at the time, and it seemed like telly we'd all be able to share - without those cover-your-eyes moments when things get lewd.

And it was a sure-fire hit. Especially with my dad.

Dad shares more than a passing resemblance to Andy (and would love nothing more than to live on a boat like Bobby), and although my mum is nothing like the ascerbic Ellie (though she's definitely a hot cougar), I think he was laughing along as if he was soaking up the Florida lifestyle himself.

Now I'd like to cast myself as the young and fun Laurie in this equation, but ever since Courteney Cox played Monica in Friends, my OCD ways meant that I'd definitely have to be compared to the lightly controlling Jules.

I just wish I had more of her clothes.

So, tonight, I'll be cracking open a bottle of merlot, settling down at the 'rents, and sharing the premiere of Season 3 with my family.

And isn't that what it's all about?

Have a good weekend. And don't forget to tune into Sky Loving on Sunday for The Love Machine!

Happy International Women's Day!

It's basically Mother's Day, but for all the women in your life who inspire you - not just your mum.

I could do a long roll call of names of all the ladies I love, as in an Oscars® acceptance speech (first would be my mum, obviously), but I wouldn't want to bore you to tears.

Instead, I want to say how inspired I am by our special film for tonight.

So today, let's give ourselves a break, give all the girls in our lives a hug and come together to celebrate.

The Secret CircleThe Secret CircleWednesday 7th March

The bewitching hour is upon us.

Tonight's episode of The Secret Circle, 'Medallion', sees Cassie warned of the witch hunter's return.

All sounds pretty scary to me.

You're suspicious enough as a teen that everyone has it in for you, but a genuine hunter on your case? Well that's no fun...

Strangely enough, though, the news reinspires her true feelings for Adam and Jake, which is funny timing - although I guess if you were being tracked by someone looking to kill off you and your kind, you might want a cuddle too.

It's Adam's birthday so he's in the party spirit and lapping up the attention. But will anyone be able to help Cassie?

Find out in The Secret Circle, tonight at 9pm.

Tuesday 6th March

Unforgettable: Marilu HennerMarilu HennerTonight's episode of Unforgettable introduces Marilu Henner.

The entirely unforgettable actress was the inspiration for the show, as she lives with the same syndrome that Carrie has.

While the unique issue is a great tool for a criminal investigator, it must also come in handy for an actress - remembering lines must be a doddle.

But what about the more painful bits of life that you just want to put behind you?

Our ability to file things away so they can't continue to distress us is a wonderful thing, although repeatedly misplacing your keys can become tiring.

I do feel genuine envy when I hear people recount schoolyard tales with as much colour as if they had experienced them yesterday, but I guess my brain is probably as tidy as my desk - everything neatly stacked in boxes.

So it'd take a bit of unpacking to access all the archived stuff.

And on that note, I'm off to do a bit of a spring clean.

Tonight's Unforgettable is at 9pm.

ANTM Cycle 17 Tyra BanksTyra BanksMonday 5th March

Yassas, Top Model fans.

Tonight's ANTM sees the girls transported to Crete for a shoot with top Greek fashion photographer Nikos Papadopolous (who I like to imagine is the son of Walford's legendary laundrette owner).

Nikos' treatment for the shoot envisages the girls in giant bowls of Greek salad - any excuse to get the girls (olive) oiled up. Which actually sounds very tasty to me.

If I had to model in an oversized plate of food, I'd probably pick a luscious portion of spaghetti bolognaise. Although it might be difficult to not eat the whole thing mid-shot...

I'm making myself hungry already.

Friday 2nd March

Friday is Criminal Minds time...

criminal minds a thin lineCriminal MindsAnd tonight's episode sees the team investigating a series of house break-ins that have ended in serious bloodshed.

The cases look unrelated, but at first thought the summation is that they're gang-motivated. That's not to say there are any horses' heads in anyone's beds, but the killer is certainly trying to send a message.

It's amazing what police teams can deduct from a crime scene, and the messages they concoct from a series of clues. If I wanted to make a very public statement, I'd just take to this blog and write about it!

But what fascinates me about their piecing together of the evidence is those faces our favourite criminal investigators pull when they're thinking. You know, the 'eureka!' moment where they realise they've got it solved. Try all their favourite logical looks yourselves by checking out my Criminal Faces gallery.

Thursday 1st March

ringer ep 12RingerTonight sees Juliet show her true colours in Ringer...

As her case against Mr Carpenter comes to a head, we see that she and Tessa have some things they need to get off their chests.

Between Juliet's mum returning to 'support' her daughter last week and her fractious relationship with 'Siobhan', this new twist shows that she's learning fast from the women in her life, and finding very inventive and quite vindictive ways to get her dad's money.

Luckily Andrew has money to burn - judging by all his big canvases with Siobhan's face on - so tonight's detail won't dint him, but the realisation that it's not only Bridget living a lie in this family is a drastic one.

Wednesday 29th February

The Secret Circle - Episode 13Which witch is your favourite? This, my friends, is my own personal history of witches.

When I think of The Secret Circle, suddenly - like the flashes of life before a dying man's eyes - I am filled with visions of all of the witches that have gone before in my years of film and telly-watching.

First off is the rather child-friendly and colourful Bewitched, which centred on Samantha, a witch living the American dream in 60s suburbia. The show was constantly rerun when I was little, and all the better for it, as it not only gave me some modern cultural history lessons (my, weren't the houses snazzy back then) but also introduced me to the occult in the most innocuous way possible.

Then in 1993 there was Hocus Pocus, in which Sarah Jessica Parker was amazingly cast as 'the hot one' in a trio of naughty witches making one teenage boy's life hell. Whenever I watch Sex and the City, I can still see SJP cackling wildly on her broomstick.

There was quite the fascination with supernatural matters in the 90s, with films like Practical Magic softening the subject up. But I, a young girl who at 13 mostly got compared to 'the freaky-faced one from Shakespeare's Sister', preferred the hard stuff.

At school, we conveniently bypassed reading The Crucible for English by heading to the multiplex to watch Winona Ryder running round the bleak wilds of Salem in an unfeasibly low-cut basque. This witching lark looked sexy, and cool.

But the real defining moment in my teen love of the meaner side of magic was when The Craft came out. Here were teenage girls just like me (yeah, black lipstick was hella cool, y'hear?!) meddling in spells and seductions, and I was hooked. Which is why The Secret Circle is such an awesome addition to our Thursday night line-up. Check it out tonight at 8pm.

And before you do, check out our top witches gallery to remember who first cast a spell on you.

UnforgettableUnforgettableTuesday 28th February

In tonight's Unforgettable, Carrie gets legally eagle-eyed.

'Lost Things' sees her investigating the death of a public prosecutor with Al.

Now, despite their prominent position in putting bad guys behind bars, it's a wonder that lawyers aren't in the firing line in the crime procedural more often.

You might get the odd threat to their safety in a gangster film, but it's the witnesses who take the brunt of the backlash. Not that I'm endorsing any characters getting knocked off for our super-sleuth viewing pleasure, of course.

So who's the perpetrator? Well, it seems whoever it is won't just stop at one killing, so Carrie had better start remembering those details soon so they can figure it out.

But will the pair be able to bring the murderer to justice, as the victim may well have been planning to do?

Find out tonight at 9pm.

Tyra Banks America's Next Top ModelTyra BanksMonday 27th February

Tonight's ANTM sees the girls playing it up for the cameras.

Guided by rapper Game, our All-Stars will be hip-hop-honeying it up to see who can make the most eye-catching star in a mock music video.

I've always had a fascination with these MTV mavens - the LBD-clad brunette beauties bouncing along with Robert Palmer to 'Addicted To Love', Rio prancing around in body paint and a string monokini on a yacht with Duran Duran, the lucky Jim'll Fix It Winner who got to be an extra in Take That's garage-themed 'Could It Be Magic' video - these were my muses as a girl.

And sometimes these promos can lead to love - Michael Buble famously had his 'one' alongside him for 'Haven't Met You Yet', and Anna Kournikova certainly couldn't escape Enrique Iglesias' love when they got steamy for his video...

So it's up to the girls to make an impression, or perhaps even catch Game's watchful gaze.

America's Next Top Model: The All-Stars is on at 9pm tonight.

Strike a pose.

Brad Pitt, Michelle Williams and George Clooney - Oscars nominees luncheon - 06.02.12-5Oscars 2012: Red Carpet LiveFriday 24th - Sunday 26th February

It's the Oscars® this weekend, and what a treat it will be.

I'm trying to ignore the fact that I have to be in bright and early on Monday morning, because all I want to do is stay up til 4am and see who scoops all the shiny statuettes.

My bet is on The Help getting some love, and also George Clooney - who has so far been largely ignored this awards season - getting a warm embrace from the Academy.

He might not get an Oscar, mind - they still remember Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, George...

But The Descendants is a genuinely affecting, personal drama, and while The Artist has dazzled and surprised audiences and critics, Clooney's performance as a grieving husband and father really did have me in tears every second scene. And yet it's saved from being in any way morose by giving you something to laugh at in every alternate scene too.

But, watching 1995 Best Picture winner Forrest Gump last night, I realised that what an (American) awards judging panel loves is a genuinely affecting tale, with political and historical relevance for the US - which is why The Help might just pull in the Best Picture gong rather than BAFTA-winning The Artist.

Either way, I'll be tuned in from 11.30pm to catch all the gowns and glory from the red carpet here on Sky Living HD, and then staging a cheeky switchover to Sky Movies HD to see who cleans up.

At least my beloved Anne Hathaway can rest easy this year away from cringing eyes.

Poor love.

Ringer ringer roses, a title full of ho-ses...

Ringer Ep 11Who you callin' a ho?Tonight's episode of Ringer is entitled: 'What Are You Doing Here Ho-Bag?'

My genuine mega-LOLz at this spawned our funny episode titles feature, but it also brought me back around to a conundrum I had last night over unlikely sweary actresses.

This was mainly because I was watching No Strings Attached, which features Natalie Portman saying such unlikely things as: "That hole is my b***h!" There's just no need for a vegan Harvard graduate to get so excited at beating Ashton Kutcher at the Pitch'n'Putt. But then, anyone who's seen her spoof rap video for Saturday Night Live will know that this girl scatterguns expletives with the tongue of a trooper.

Similarly, the lovely Anne Hathaway - she of The Princess Diaries and ill-advised large-scale Oscar-night musical theatre numbers - has also been known to chuck in some F-bombs to toughen up her squeaky-clean act.

So Sarah Michelle Gellar has been taking note. She wasn't allowed to do any of the swearing back in her Buffy days, so now she's a fully fledged grown up she's calling the world and her cat a ho. I wonder what name she has for Freddie Prinze Jr when she's annoyed...?

Ringer's on tonight at 8pm.

UnforgettableUnforgettableTuesday 21st February

There's an unforgettable night of TV ahead on Sky Living HD.

This evening's episode of Unforgettable, 'Road Block', sees Carrie searching for the killer of a single father - and it seems like examining family matters is leading her to come to some new conclusions about her own hunt for her sister's killer.

Luckily, there's a man on hand who knows Carrie better than anyone, co-cop and ex Lt Al Burns.

And, let's face it, he's in for the long-haul - because it's obvious he hasn't forgotten their time together.

So what is it about the chemistry between Al and Carrie?

Well, they know each other so well - having been partners both in the force and in the bedroom for so long, and it's not like Carrie is ever going to forget his birthday or his favourite pick-me-up meal.

But the best thing is that Al feels the same, and he's always got Carrie's back - which is lucky when you're on the hunt for murderers day in, day out.

So does their love still sizzle, or has it fizzled? Check out Unforgettable tonight at 9pm.

Criminal MindsCriminal MindsFriday 17th February

It's time for some Criminal Minds action.

Tonight's episode is called 'Snake Eyes' and sees the BAU team head to a casino to investigate a series of gambling-related crimes.

Rather aptly, this is Episode 13 (unlucky for some) of Season 7, which got me thinking about how people get lured by the bright lights and big-money stakes of casinos in the first place.

A friend of mine feels the pull whenever he's had a few too many drinks. And while many mates will simply lose their wallets when inebriated, he heads to Leicester Square, hands his to the front desk and withdraws his entire current account in chips.

Suffice to say he has a double-whammy of a hangover the next day when he realises he hasn't got enough cash for a Sausage McMuffin, but it's never quite stopped him from ending up there again the next time.

Luckily for our friends, he's not the murdering kind, as this episode sees some proper dark dealings around the casino floor.

But luckily, this is the perfect setting for the BAU boys and girls - round the tables are just the ideal place to get a read of the gamblers poker faces.

Damn, I just can't keep mine still.

RingerRinger's backThursday 16th February

Ringer's back tonight.

When you watch the show, you realise how much TV technology has come on in the last couple of years.

Once upon a time, the idea of one person playing two characters in the same show would have led to lots of stunt doubles in bad wigs facing away from the camera to enable both to be in the same shot.

Luckily for us, Sarah Michelle Gellar is such an awesome actress that she can just run from one side of the screen to the other in super-quick time in order to talk to herself.

OK, so it's all CGI trickery really, but imagine the workout you could get from playing two people the whole time?

As twins Siobhan and Bridget, SMG gets to live it up in beautiful dresses, languishing in the attentions of hottie Ioan Gruffud, and back-stab her own self in this tense thriller. That’s got to be the dream job, right?

Get ready to reassume the double identity tonight at 9pm, as Ringer returns for the second half of Season 1.

Feel free to give us a ring(er) afterwards to tell us what you thought.

Guffaw…

The Secret CircleThe Secret CircleWednesday 15th February

I've always wanted to be in with the in-crowd.

And it seems that The Secret Circle is just the ticket.

I may no longer be 16, or happen to live anywhere near Chance Harbor, Washington, but I would still do anything to join this little high-school coven.

I think I've got that certain Charmed charm (alright, I look quite witchy), with my raven locks and dark and somewhat starey eyes (apologies to Sky Living's editor Jessica Lewis who has to sit opposite me day in, day out).

And tonight, as the show returns from its mid-season hiatus, I will be sat on my sofa casting some home-grown spells to try and magic my way across the Atlantic and into their gang.

I'm sure myself and Faye would get along well - we're both just a little quick with our temper (although I take mine out on the gym, obvs).

But the return of The Secret Circle isn't the only exciting thing happening at Sky Living HQ today.

We can finally reveal that fashion designer Henry Holland has joined the family as co-host of Rihanna's hunt for Britain's next design superstar. Speaking of which, today's the deadline for applications - so if you think you've got what it takes to dress one of the world's biggest popstars, it's time to get involved.

I think I need a little lie down...

UnforgettableUnforgettableTuesday 14th February

I'm sure you're totally sick of all the romance already.

So I thought I'd give the boy-loving a little rest for today and, instead, concentrate on the red-hotness of our very own Carrie from Unforgettable.

Let's face it, there really should be a holiday where we get to offer up some girly admiration and thank our friends for being so awesome.

And I surely do think that if Carrie was my mate, I'd even probably go so far as to give her a heart-shaped greetings card on 14th February.

While she might have a tough exterior, she's a tortured, sensitive soul, still searching for a way to find her sister's killer so many years on. And she's using all of her feminine wiles (as well as her amazing memory) to get where she's going - unafraid to be straight-talking, but yet perfectly pouty at all times.

She's second only to Joan Holloway in my mind, but she goes one better than Mad Men's wonderfully wiggly office manager by kicking some serious butt and still managing to look that good in a racer-back vest and skinny jeans.

So for today, I'll say, Carrie, will you be my Valentine?

That wasn't so weird, was it?

ANTM Cycle 17 Tyra BanksANTMMonday 13th February

This weekend has certainly been eventful.

Both in good ways - the gorgeous red-carpet glamour from the BAFTAs and the Grammys.

And in bad - the untimely passing of Whitney Houston.

But you can always depend on ANTM to give us even more drama to kick-start the new week.

This episode sees sweetly named supermodel Coco Rocha turn up as the guest star for a bar brawl-themed shoot. Which gives the girls one hell of a reason to kick off - we're looking forward to seeing how they'll make fist fights look foxy.

But, as emotions are heightened for the shoot, will tempers fray in the house too? If only their best shot could come from behind-the-scenes altercations…

Enjoy.

Friday 10th February

Shh - don't tell my boyfriend, but...

I have a new crush - and his name is Matthew Gray Gubler.

Matthew Gray GublerWe heart the Gube - catch him on Criminal Minds tonight at 9pm

It's not necessarily his ex-fashion model good looks that have charmed me, more the idea that he's not only a genius (in the show, I admit), but also that he's well into his filmmaking.

You see, I love a director. It's probably down to the fact that my big dream is to write films, so I think of directors as the visionaries who bring it all to life. And MGG - even though he's not a fully fledged movie helmsman just yet - is probably the best-looking potential director around.

He also has a sense of humour about himself, making self-satirising vignettes about the Hollywood machine in his spare time on the set of Criminal Minds. There is nothing more attractive in life than a person who is able to laugh at themselves, so he gets extra brownie points for that.

But most of all, I think I like his slightly nerdy ways. I love a bit of geek chic, and he has it in spades - even down to his thick-rimmed (and actually very cool Ray-Ban) spectacles.

I'm not alone, though - click through our gallery to see why everyone at Sky Living hearts the Gube.

And then watch him tonight on Criminal Minds at 9pm.

Weekend sorted.

Grey's AnatomyOh, McDreamy, how we've missed youThursday 9th February

Clear the decks, it's showtime!

I've been here a few weeks now and have so far seen some big news - Rihanna bringing her first ever show exclusively to Sky Living, Whitney Port and Tyson Beckford joining Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model - as well as exciting returns of some of our biggest shows - Ringer, The Secret Circle and, of course, Criminal Minds.

But yesterday's news that one of the mainstays of the channel, Grey's Anatomy, would be back on our screens in two weeks, really made me feel all warm and fuzzy. Because it means we've got a veritable banquet of new episodes every night of the week to share with you - and I can't wait to get stuck in.

Tonight, you can continue the catch-up with loads of episodes before their respective returns - the first half of Season 1 for both Ringer and The Secret Circle are available on Sky Go, and then there's Criminal Minds on at 10pm and Unforgettable at 11pm.

But if you - like me - have been missing Grey's, then check out what's been going on this season to get you ready to jump back in.

Enjoy.

Pushy & ProudAre you Pushy & Proud?Wednesday 8th February

Pushy & Proud, or Pushed Around & Tired?

Some of you might already be parents (in which case, you should know which of the above you fall into), but for those of us (myself included), who have yet to produce a sproglet, it's a fun game to figure out which type of mum you might be…

I obviously like to imagine that one day I'll be that Wonder Woman mummy, a whirling dervish of nourishing care, creative fun and productive tidiness. I guess my mum idol would be Claire Dunphy from Modern Family (even if her brood see her as a bit of a nag at times).

But, currently - judging by my inability to get up early in the mornings, and my slightly scruffy look, despite all lack of responsibility - it seems I might actually end up being the kind of parent whose eyes are propped open with matchsticks, relying on an intravenous drip of RedBull just to make it round the supermarkets, only to have the shopping list dictated by my screaming two-year-old.

In Pushy & Proud, however, we see a series of beauty-conscious mothers making sure their little wonder is as polished as a WAG's engagement ring. Trips to the salon for tanning, nail and hair appointments are the order of the day, not to mention amazing designer wardrobes. Basically, everything I don't have enough time or money for in my own life.

So it's probably fair to say my mini-me might be a little more au naturel as a tot.

Still, that's childhood, right?

Decide which type of parent you might be: Pushy & Proud is on tonight at  8pm.

Tuesday 7th FebruaryUnforgettableUnforgettable: tonight at 9pm

Unforgettable, that's what you are...

Yesterday, I saw a report in the newspaper about a policeman - PC Gary Collins - who has a fantastic memory like Unforgettable's Carrie, which has allowed him catch 180 of the London rioters with his unique skills.

He is one of a small band of 'super recognisers' in the Met, unable to forget a face or physical description, tasked with scouring hours of footage and thousands of photos from the looting last summer.

Despite repeated exposure to multitudes of (often hooded) assailants, he is able to pick them out, match them to other evidence and bring them to justice.

I certainly could have done with some of that photographic memory power when I was at school and university but, sadly, my brain is more like an Etch-A-Sketch when it comes to retaining detail. You can get a rough idea from the jaggedy line-drawing, but give it a shake and it all goes a bit hazy. Which is why I always carry a notebook and pen wherever I go.

Just call me the 'super scribbler'.

Unforgettable continues tonight at 9pm.

Whitney PortWhitney PortMonday 6th February

So, Tyson and Whitney - how will they compare?

As we announce two new awesome American arrivals on Sky Living HD, it's got me thinking - how will our high-profile international judges compare to their counterparts over on ANTM?

Can male supermodel Tyson Beckford and reality fashionista Whitney Port size up to photographer Nigel Barker and ex Vogue editor-at-large Andre Leon Talley, who preside over the current All-Stars panel?

Well, Tyson can certainly offer an eye for the aesthetic in the same way that Nigel can - not only judging them in fashion terms, but also as a guy checking out a girl standing in front of him. And, in some ways, this may well provide a slightly more rounded view, rather than taking things from the 'you can never be too skinny' girl's perspective.

Meanwhile, Whitney is there to add a golden touch of Hollywood-via-New-York gloss - something she has in every inch of her gorgeous hair, let alone the rest of her. But it's undeniable that her professional CV can't quite match up to Andre's in magazine magnitude - Whitney was an intern and then contributor at Teen Vogue, while the only person that surpassed Talley at Vogue was a certain Ms Anna Wintour...

That aside, the pair are definitely going to give us some fash-mag cred, as well as Hollywood beauty/beefy eye candy - and, between them, a wealth of stylistic experience. I think Tyson and Whitney are going to redefine BINTM this season.

Just you watch.

ANTM is on tonight at 9pm.

Friday 3rd February

I'm ready to get my Criminal Mind on…

I’ve been catching up on past episodes, learning all about the characters, and now I’m able to analyse a person at 20 paces, and read 20,000 words a second - yes, I'm a genius.

So, let me examine what it is that makes this show so popular.

Criminal MindsCriminal Minds returns to Sky Living HD tonight at 9pm

Sure, it has all the hallmarks of a good police procedural - compelling story arcs for intense characters as they root out the bad guys. But this gives an added level of intelligence - it's about what makes those guys tick, outside of sheer badness.

Jason Gideon, and now David Rossi's spine-tinglingly close estimations of character profile make me want to pull on my po-est of poker faces to see if they could crack me.

Then, of course, there's the eye candy.

I knew Thomas Gibson from Dharma & Greg - and always wondered what had become of him, until he turned up as Aaron Hotchner in his sharp suit with a slightly forlorn look in his eye at the BAU.

And young gun Dr Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler), both intriguing and beguiling in his almost Rain Man-esque skills, I had singled out after a little turn as Joseph Gordon-Levitt's friend in 500 Days Of Summer.

But Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore) is a new face for me, and one that I am definitely looking forward to getting to know over the next half of this season, just as I would like to acquaint myself with some of these other FBI fitties we have compiled.

So let's get familiar, tonight at 9pm.

The Secret CircleThe Secret Circle is back on 15th FebruaryThursday 2nd February

Please don't throw things at me, but...

I've never watched Ringer or The Secret Circle.

When I joined Sky Living, this didn't seem to be a problem - they were on hiatus. A long mid-season break.

But now they're back... or at least, they will be in a couple of weeks.

Luckily for me, and also for those of you who need a bit of a refresher on your favourite US shows, both are now available on Sky Go. Which means I can spend every spare night - tonight being one - with Sarah Michelle Gellar and Ioan Gruffud and co before the hallowed 8pm on 15th (for Secret Circle) and 16th February (for Ringer) when they're back on our screens to stay.

Definitely beats being out in the cold.

Stay warm.

PS If you think there's a chance you'll forget those dates in the next two weeks, you can use our Never Miss service. But don't worry, I'll be sure to remind you, too...

Strictly Ballroom - GenericStrictly Baby BallroomWednesday 1st February

Bigger Than becomes Baby Ballroom…

It's with a heavy hump-day heart that, due to a change in the schedule, the final two episodes of Bigger than... will now be shown later in the year - but filling its spot will be Strictly Baby Ballroom.

What could be cuter than little people pulling some big moves on the dance floor in massive frou-frou dresses, with even wider smiles?

With the success of Strictly Come Dancing and the interest surrounding our documentary Pushy and Proud, this is the perfect combination for Sky Living HD.

We'll let you know as soon as we have new broadcast dates for the remaining episodes of Bigger Than..., but for now you can channel your love for Rihanna into making her some dresses or, if you prefer even tinier show-stopping outfits, then Strictly Baby Ballroom is just the ticket. It's on tonight at 9pm.

Cha Cha Cha!
