It's rare we have a celeb encounter that makes us feel faint...
So there we were, minding our own business, browsing around in LA's Bristol Farms (think M&S).
And obviously we were by the naughty counter (cupcakes, pastries, whipped cream).
Suddenly we felt a kind of sublime presence, one that 18 years ago would have sent us into hysterics.
Matt Goss. Yes, the cuter twin from Bros was standing there, right next to us. (SCREAM!)
Back in the day, we had posters of Matt up on our walls, went to Bros concerts at Wembley Arena, joined the fan club...
And now, Matt still has those piercing eyes, great skin and that beaut smile.
So, faced with him, what's the best we can come up with? "We used to have a real crush on you."
Yup, straight out reverted to being a spotty teenaged fan.
So what's our fave Goss been up to? He revealed that he's been living in LA on and off for over 10 years, has written a couple books and is in the studio working on a new album.
He ordered a peanut butter cupcake so we said to him: "So, you've got a sweet tooth."
To which he told Sky Showbiz: "I do tonight." Was this some sort of euphemism we wondered...
He then gave us a hug and a kiss as we said goodbye and we were like ice cream on a sunny LA day - melted in an instant.
Obviously we completely forgot about our own cupcake purchase and exited the store singing: "I owe you noooothing, ooooooer, nothing at aaaaaall."
See - dreams do come true - even if they take over 15 years.
